Leader, self-starter, mentor and recognized business professional are only a few words that describe LaKesha Wilson. Providing a helpful service to the public has always been at the forefront of Wilson’s mind. It was this passion that has lead her to become the youngest, African-American President of a Publically Traded Company.
As President and CEO of SPOOFEM.COM, Wilson is currently responsible for the development of strategic business units, global sales initiatives and the overall growth of the company. SPOOFEM.COM’s core service is caller ID spoofing, which allows users to call any number and have any 10 digit telephone number show up in the recipient’s caller ID. Wilson’s first project is to develop SPOOFEM applications for iPhones and Blackberries.
With a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from Clark Atlanta University and an Undergrad degree in Finance, Wilson worked full time through her matriculation with Fortune 500 companies at Clark Atlanta University and Michigan State University. From age 16, Wilson has been working in corporate America, learning from industry leaders from the beginning. Acquiring an acute business sense at a young age from her father, Wilson has proven that with dedication and drive anything is possible.
