Wealthy Sistas® Valerie S. Pearson

Valerie S. Pearson currently serves as the full-time Chief of Ministry Staff, Assistant to the Pastor at the New Psalmist Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD., She joined the New Psalmist staff in May 1999 as the Minister of Missions and Outreach. In May of the following year, she accepted the position of Minister of Discipleship and in January of 2002, she accepted her current position. Rev. Pearson oversees the ministry staff and more than 80 ministries at New Psalmist. In addition to preaching and teaching, she is a conference presenter conducting workshops and seminars for women and church leaders.
She has authored the book and developed the program called, “A Remarkable Woman.” Through this program, the ministry serves at My Sister’s Place, a homeless shelter for women and launching in October, 2009 is a new component called “Young Butterflies” for young girls ages 11-13.
The Remarkable Woman Ministry is structured to move women forward to the destiny that God has called them to. The activities in this program are geared toward empowering and enriching the lives of women. It is intended to strategically move women forward from a place of stagnation and uncertainty to a place of passion, power and confidence.
