THE DAY | OF | THE | WOMAN - Behold I Show You a Mystery #3

Let’s turn our attention to the Book of the Revelation, Chapter 12.  Even here, the Spirit of God reveals the purpose of the church in the typology of a woman.  Emphasis verse 17 – “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”  Verse 9 clarifies that the dragon is the serpent, and the serpent is the Devil, Satan which deceives the whole world.  It is fascinating that in verse 12, the Spirit describes Satan ‘s descent from heaven.  He warns the inhabitors of the earth and the sea. Vs. 13, and when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.  He persecuted the woman (mother of all living) in the Garden of Eden, he is persecuting the woman (the Church) and he is persecuting the woman in the Church.  I am convinced that when the woman comes into her full glory within the Woman (the Church), the Church will then rise to her full potential  and crush the head of the serpent (the Devil).
