MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — Drag Queen Story Hour drew hundreds of parents, children, supporters and protesters to the Ben May Library in Mobile, Alabama Saturday.
This was the first Drag Queen Story Hour in Alabama. It was sponsored by a LBGTQ nonprofit, Rainbow Mobile.
The Drag Queen Story Hour is a free event where a drag queen trained and assisted by an elementary teacher, will read to local children ages 3 to 8.
