In Chapter Six Moses encourages the Children of Israel to love the Lord thy God with all their heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (vs. 5). He exhorts them to teach their children as much as they can about God and His expectations. This scripture stuck out to me:
VERSE 9 - AND THOU SHALT BIND THEM FOR A SIGN UPON THINE HAND
AND THEY SHALL BE AS FRONTLETS BETWEEN THINE EYES.
Why would God say on hand or between eyes? Does that remind you of the same thing that will happen with the mark of the beast coming soon? Why? Because it will show that they are the property of Satan at that point.
In chapter seven - In these Bible Studies we have learned that God is protective over His people. It is like they are in a bubble. He can whip them, discipline them, kill them, and punish them...BUT DON'T LET ANYONE IN THE WORLD SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THEM OR THEY WILL BE DESTROYED! So, in verse nine he reiterates, "Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations." Here's the blessings if they obey his commandments:
God will keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers
He will love thee, bless thee and multiply thee
He will bless the fruit of your womb, the land, corn, wine, oil and increase their kine, and the flocks of thy sheep
Thou shalt be blessed above all people
There shalt not be male or female barren among you or your cattle
The Lord will take away from thee all sickness
God will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
