In the first part of this bible study, we discover how God takes care of the Children of Israel while they're out in the wilderness. He gives them water when there is no water, feeds them by Quail from the sea, manna from Heaven for 40 years, etc. He also came to see them as a cloud of glory! As they walk with Him, He begins to lay down the law about what He expects from them, which we learn in Part 2.
In the 2nd part, God shows out! He makes a grand entrance in front of the Children of Israel to show that I AM GOD! He lets them know that He is JEALOUS for them! He expects them to abide by the 10 commandments which He releases up on the mountain with Moses! He shows out and puts the fear of God into the people! It's amazing how He gave Moses the 10 commandments!
