Trust the Lord brings us to part one hundred fifty-four and to the end of chapter fifty. We have come along way here in Isaiah but have never lost the sight of our God and his hand upon his beloved. Yet for us today in the new covenant we rest upon the fact of the faithfulness of God and our redemption found in Jesus Christ. With troubles afflicting Israel, God brings them out of bondage and into the covenant with Him leading them to Jerusalem. Even today we find Israel in Jerusalem. Trust in the Lord for you shall never be ashamed and spend time with our savior and God.

Trust the Lord partners with "I shall not be confounded", "I set my face like a flint", "I shall not be ashamed", "justifies me", "contend with me", "trust in the name of the Lord", and "stay upon his God". All these phrases can equally apply to our situation in our #perilous #endtimes. In the days of Isaiah, it brings in #Hope to those delivered from #Babylon through #Cyrus by the hand of the Lord. Today, in #ChristJesus via the #newcovenant of #faith we can trust in the Lord. He has #justified us, we will not be ashamed no matter who contends with us, for we trust in the name of the #Lord and stay upon our #God. A great #inspirational close to chapter fifty. #TrustintheLord
