Being a single father, and after losing his own father 6 years ago to a heart condition, he made a decision that he wanted to be around for his 2 daughters as long as he could. Aaron took an opportunity to become a health coach, and has been empowering other Veterans and people to also live healthier, fuller lives by exceeding personal limitations and working towards their own goals in health, fitness, and life. MassinissA Sphinx defines his style purely on his unique personality. A BackWords rapping war veteran riddle with PTSD Atheist that goes Kamikaze on a beat. In his earlier years on the scene, his artistry granted him a deal with Johnathan Shector (part owner of the source magazine) owner of Game records. He was recognized by Johnathan Shector for his style of colorful word play which he developed in part with suffering from dyslexia. Shector mentored and signed Massinissa whom which he shared a platform with label mates such as Royce the 5.9 and Eminem before Shector moved onto Aftermath. As a youth and young adult Massinissa found himself in a lot of trouble living alone in Brooklyn until he made choices in his life to prevail. In 2006 Massinissa joined the army and found solace in his work revolutionizing Fort Jackson by changing all the cadence while in his platoon WolfPack. Now out of the army, this year Massinissa is focused and in a direction that places him on the path he belongs on.
