Please join David Hill and myself as we welcome our guest Gray Wolf for a general discussion of the winds that blow through Indian Country. Also Joining us in our weekly edition of reaching out to different cultures of our people will be Brenda Everett. Anishinabe She shares this about herself an old elder jack starr traditionally welcomed me back home an danced us into the circle .and as he spoke about the importance of our people and especially the children ,its been something thats inspired me ,and became a activist for our people shortly after . i go to sweats and cerimonies ,my family includes ,traditional ,but christians too and a few chiefs ,and a former national chief . the elders have always been my inspiration . but life was hard comming back to a native reserve being raised white .in the beginning no matter how much i loved everybody and being home ,i was still different . i tried ending my life a few times ,but after surviving ,decided instead of creating more problems to do something about it and went to councilling ,and became an activist . i've been used in the media for a protest to speak out about adoption out of reserve and at the legislative buildings . was also apart of the first nations accountability coalition against the crooked leaders ,and had different views from phil fontaine ,in which he lost his leadership that year to mathew cooncom . protested during the pan am games with terry nelson . went on the longest walk 2 ,and do rallies .
