Two shootings in two seperate incidents in Canada have let Prime Minister Harper to urge Parlaiment to rethink 'thresholds' on where the bar is set when it comes to what law enforcement needs to be able to arrest and indefinitely detain citizens who are suspected of 'contemplating' "terrorist" activity. You heard that right. Canada is joining the fear-based McArthy-esque whitch hunt against their citizens now.
What civil liberties Obama gutted, slipped into a defense spending bill, with the NDAA in 2012, the Harper administration is now pulling a snow job on the people up north. Welcome aboard Canada. Are you awake yet?
Meanwhile, hockey will be nudged out of the national pasttime and replaced with Parlaimentary Committees on Un-Canadian Activities.. Guess who's coming to dinner.
