On this episode we talk about the NDAA, The Natioanl Defense Authorization Act of 2011. This freedom busting legislation, which Obama signed after promising he won't allowed, the President to secretly detain, torture and kill anyone anywhere. This was supposedly "needed" to combat terrorism even though most terrorists are funded by the CIA in the first place! This is all public record.
Dan Johnson, President of PANDA (People Against The NDAA), will be our guest to discuss this. Their web site is http://pandaunite.org .
Dan Johnson is 20 years old, founder of People Against the NDAA (PANDA), and a nationally renown writer and speaker. He founded PANDA in January 2012, and it has since become the largest Anti-NDAA organization in America, introducing or pushing over 18 pieces of state and numerous pieces of local anti-NDAA legislation. A grassroots, nonpartisan, nonviolent organization, PANDA is supported by groups across the political spectrum united to prevent the laws of war from being used here in the United States, and on American citizens anywhere in the world.
Dan has written for several publications, including the Huffington Post, Policy Mic, Occupy.com, and Western Journalism. He has spoken at PAUL Fest, the Northwest Ohio Conservative Conference, the CRWF Northern Division Convention, Libertopia, the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Convention, and more, and has been interviewed on numerous radio shows including Coast to Coast AM, Liberty Roundtable, and Red Ice Radio.
There are few issues that cannot unite Americans more solidly than opposition to the NDAA, which gives any President the power to declare any American an enemy combatant if they are considered "belligerent," This term is so poorly defined that it means a puppet President can declare anyone who resists corporate rule an enemy of the (police) state.
One young man was so shocked when he heard about this that he took it as his personal mission to create the most effective group to end NDAA that exists. In the span of a few short months, Dan Johnson had built the backbone of People Against NDAA (PANDA), with chapters in over 20 states and growing.
Dan joins us to talk about the progress of PANDA's work since his last appearance on Taking Back America, and to talk about the role of PANDA in building a united international front against fascism and war.

WE WILL BE DISCUSSING HOW THIS MOST EGGREGIOUS LEGISLATION AFFECTS AMERIKANS TODAY, WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOUR FREEDOMS AND WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. THIS EPISODE WILL EXPLORE HOW OUR TYRANNICAL GOVERNMENT HAS PUT NDAA INTO PLACE SO THEY CAN PLACE YOU IN DETENTION AT ANY TIME WITHOUT A TRIAL FOR ANY REASON AND EVEN EXECUTE YOU.
The annual renewal of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is underway on Capitol Hill. On June 14, by a vote of 315-108, the House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year 2014 version of the NDAA (HR 1960). Several amendments to the defense spending legislation were proposed, many of which were approved either by voice vote or en bloc. The first method of voting requires no report on how individual members voted, while the second method aggregates amendments, allowing them to be voted on in groups. A few of the amendments represent significant improvements to the NDAA of 2012 and 2013. The acts passed for those years infamously permitted the president to deploy U.S. military troops to apprehend and indefinitely detain any American he alone believed to be aiding enemies of the state. While the 2014 iteration doesn’t go far enough in pushing the federal beast back inside its constitutional cage, there are at least a few congressmen willing to try to crack the whip and restore constitutional separation of powers and shore up a few of the fundamental liberties suspended by the NDAA of the past two years. I Am Liberty! on American Preppers Radio Friday *7:00pm/Est *6:00pm/Ct *5:00pm/Mt *4:00pm/Pt Live Listen and Chat go to: http://prepperbroadcasting.com/listen-chat/ Tonight on I Am Liberty we have a great guest for our topic, Dan Johnson of PANDA www.pandaunite.org . The young man who started the fight against NDAA this insane bill and with some hard work has garnered great successes. A young man you should hear about much more often. Unfortunately the America isn’t turned on by the possibility of indefinite detention rather they would concern themselves with how much MDMA their favorite pop star can snort before disrobing and making a music video. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from a true expert on the topic. If you are interested you could make this cause part of your Initial Contact before 2014. Either way you have an excellent opportunity to chat with a true American who is fighting for all of us.

In 2012, Congress appended a provision on a routine bill to fund the Department of Defense, the National Defense Authorization Act, which passed on a bipartisan basis. This provision gives the President and any future President the power to designate anyone an enemy combatant, subject to arrest and indefinite detention in military prisons without charge. Many Americans do not know about NDAA or the story behind it. Of those who do know about the provision, many are unconcerned, believing that the President would not abuse the power and being apparently unconcerned that they have no idea who may inherit it. Some refuse to believe that it is applicable to Americans, but the facts say otherwise. On June 14, our guest on Taking Back America was Shane Ozbun, State Team Leader of People Against the NDAA (PANDA) of Oregon. We talked about the story behind the NDAA, what it means for democracy in the US, how it relates to corporate control of the US government and how you can help PANDA be a part of Taking Back America for the People. This show was rebroadcast on June 15 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST on the Star Com Radio network.Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to educate the American public on true costs of corporate control of the US government.Know the truth and the truth will set us free.
Should Idaho make a law to allow law abiding citizens and law enforcement officers to carry concealed weapons on college campuses? Should we also adopt a new amendment to our state constitution allowing for the legislature to approve or deny state agencies from future actions on the people of Idaho? All this and more, coming up in this February 16th edition of Idaho Politics Radio.
Senator Steven Thayn joins us for the second half of the show. He is introducing new legislation to improve healthcare in Idaho, giving the power back to the people. He is working on solutions to block the federal government from overstepping their bounds with the NDAA, and he has recently launched legislation to help high school students with college costs.
