Who Is WADJET? The Science of Wadjet Yoga

Wadjet is one of the oldest known deities of the ancient Kamitic tradition. Her worship extends far back into pre-dynastic times, and for as long as she has been known she has been closely associated with kingship and protection. As the patron divine principle of kings, she is associated with the land and depicted as a snake-headed woman or simply as a cobra, a large venomous snake common to the region, famous for its wide, forbidding hood and its ability to spit venom at its enemies from a long distance. The science of Wadjet is founded upon the ancient African understanding of the movement of energy through the body- the times, seasons, and systems through which power ebbs and flows in its cycles. By developing an experiential awareness of power and its cycles, it is possible to use them to their fullest capacity at all times, thus becoming a more effective human with the highest possibility of achieving your divine purpose.
