Fake Meat Is Coming, Fresh from the Lab

Fake meat will soon be ready for market. Not just the sort held together with meat glue, or kept from rotting with preservatives, or swollen with drugs, or made more appetizing with dyes. Scientists are on the verge of producing genuine fake meat.They are citing the usual suspexts of better for the environment, better for animal welfare and the abiltiy to be able to feed the worlds population.
Is this an extention of GM crops? Are we playing God on another playing field? Has anyone seen the film Solent green? Is this where we are heading!
