Valerie Herskowitz

I have been a speech pathologist for the past 32 years in which most of the years were spent working with individuals with autism. I am also a parent of a 19 year old son, Blake, who has autism. I work with individuals with autism, their families and professional that deal with them. I specialize in developing home-based intervention programs and web-based seminars on subjects dealing with autism. I have written a book called Autism and Computers: Maximizing Independence Through Technology. I was also the receipient of the 2004 Stevie Lifetime Achievement Award for my work with individuals with autism.
