Day 1 of the 77th Annual Meeting in Providence

Throughout the 77th Annual Meeting of the United States Conference of Mayors USMayorTime with Tom Cochran will feature and spotlight the mayors of the nation who will share the story of U.S. cities. Featured guests will include USCM President Miami Mayor Manuel ”Manny” Diaz , USCM Past President Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, Los Angeles Mayor Antiono R. Villaraigosa, as well as other distinguished international leaders such as Hiroshima Mayor Tadatoshi Akiba and the Ambassador of Mexico to the United States Arturo Sukhan Casamitjana. Conversations will touch on how cities are handling the economic crisis, mayors involvement in climate protection, AK-47’s and gun violence and the many of the other hot issues affecting cities.
