At the International Modeling and Talent Awards “IMTA” in 1998 contestants, competitors from England, Milan, and New York and many others watched as a hometown person from Detroit, Michigan wins five trophies. That same year, Spec’s Broadcasting School nominates Nya Terry for the ‘International Television and Video Award’ (ITVA) for Best New-Person in Video Production. The video presentation a commercial which she wrote, produced, directed, and starred in was on Baker’s Keyboard Lounge located in Detroit Michigan. Demar Douglas was born in Ypsilanti Mi and raised in Southern California. At a young age he already decided that he was going to be a artist when he grew up. After attending college he Started Blaqwata Studio. He has done many portraits, and illustration projects,as well as exhibited at various galleries. . DeVon Eric Dennard aka DeMo was born and raised in Detroit Michigan, home of Motown. He developed hearing difficulties as an infant. Son of Eric and Jannet Dennard singers and actors of the groups, The Motif and Peddy Players. He is also the nephew of Quentin Wayne Dennard one of the drummers for The Temptations and the Supremes. DeVon was born in the musical environment. Eventually, as he got older his mother would have to relocate to Miami due to his ears.
