It doesn't matter if you live in an urban area, suburban area, or way out in the boonies, the community atmosphere of homesteaders urban or rural is simply amazing as you'll see in our first show. We're kicking it off with a bang! Our first show will cover the MAJOR uproar over a Pasadena family unethically (in our opinion) trademarking the terms 'Urban Homestead' and "Urban Homesteading". The Durveas family had made their mark in the UH community with their tremendous contribution to the movement starting in 2001. Their claim and teachings have always been geared towards breaking free of the hold corporate America has on our society and to become more self-sufficient. However their attempt to high jack the rights and claiming they'invented" Urban Homesteading has revealed their true character. They jumped in bed with the corporate scum and went so far as to have the Facebook pages of popular non-profits shut down.
