Correcting our History-American Cities founded by Slaves

I used to fantasize about the names of some cities being called that because they were founded by slaves or founded for slaves.  Cities like Freeport, thinking that it was a place founded by slaves for other slaves to safely get too right off the water.  I soon forgot about that notion and didn’t think any more about it until I read these stories.
