Lessons long forgotten are the only Lessons that can save us now

You hear so many claim that we are losing our way because of gay marriage, immigration and so many other despicable factors but truth be told we are losing our way because we have strayed far afield of the very lessons we learned as a child that we now disregard and have replaced with lessons we find better suit us as individuals and not as a people.

These are the lost lessons that once kept us from seeing only the bad in a person and kept us wanting less when it came to spiritual nourishment than we truly need now.  We have become so strict in our way of trying to control that which we have never had and never will have control over.  We try to control the wishes, hopes, desires and life directions of others.  We try to control the weather and the rotation of the planets.  We try to control the destiny of others by imposing our will upon them instead of helping them to find God’s will.
