I am a psychologist (LLP) with a specialty in alcohol & drug abuse (SPADA). I've spent the last 23 years of my career serving those and their loved ones who struggle with addiction, suicide, death; and the accompanying feelings of depression, anxiety, and panic.

My career has spanned the entire continuum of care for mental health & addiction:  suicide crisis phone counseling, emergency room, critical care, detox unit, inpatient psychiatry, and long term rehabilitation.  I also developed an Intensive Dual Diagnosed IOP for those who struggle with mental illness and addiction. 

I've penned a self-help memoir entitled, Hurry Before the Snow Flies. I also wrote and recorded “Where Did You Go?” A song about the heartache one feels after losing a loved one.

I've recently opened The Comfort Boutique & Counseling Center in Grand Rapids. The Comfort Boutique offers specialized memorial gifts to help those during the active grieving process. In the Counseling Center, I offer individual, couples, family, and group counseling.  For the public, I also offer complimentary mini seminars on addiction, suicide grief, depression, anxiety, and panic. www.twowolfdancing.com
