Believe God And Enter Into Rest, Into Your Promised Land

The Children of Israel (who did not have faith in God, the majority in Joshua's day), failed to enter the Promised Land when they were supposed to because they lacked something. They saw what God can do because He delivered them from the most powerful and oppressive nation on earth at the time. They saw what He did at the Red Sea. They saw how He provided for them in the wilderness. So they knew God and saw His Works. What they were missing was faith. Even though they saw God's works they had an evil heart of unbelief. They never truly trusted and took God at His Word. That is why when any trouble or discomfort came they wanted to quit and go back to Egypt. As believers we have to be honest with ourselves and make sure we don't have that same heart of unbelief.
