Suffering in the flesh to cease from sin

What do "heresy", "adultery", "hatred", "strife", "drunkenness", "wrath", "sedition" have in common? They are all works of the flesh. The Bible warns us about these and other works of the flesh in Galatians 5. We are also warned that those in the flesh cannot please Him.
