Martin Miner, M.D., Receives 2012 Men’s Health Award From Massachusetts Medical Society

The Men’s Health Center is the nation’s first interdisciplinary men’s health center, pulling together primary care physicians, urologists and mental health professionals in a collaborative effort to treat men’s sexual and overall health.

Dr. Miner, is also chief of family practice and community medicine at The Miriam Hospital, is a researcher, much-sought-after lecturer, and widely-published author. He is a member of the editorial boards of the International Journal of Clinical Practice, Journal of Sexual Medicine, American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine, Postgraduate Medicine and The International Journal of Men’s Health.

He is the first non-urologist to be elected to the board of directors of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America,

Dr Miner is a three-time recipient of the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award from Brown and was awarded the Ebert Award for Distinguished Service from Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare
