Making Life Easy with guest José Paul Moretto

Prompted by the level that our young people were rated in 2010, worldwide, in the fields of math and science, I felt that young people needed an addendum to what they were currently learning, pertaining to math. I set out to write (with my editor) a math book, "Fear No Numbers - How to Multiply Or Divide and Always Get It Right", that would help those who found math (multiplication and division, specifically) 'unfriendly' or confusing. I show how one can easily 'check' their products and quotients, and even have fun doing it! I introduce some newer math 'systems' that I believe pre-teens (or older) will actually enjoy doing! I also include some interesting math history, and I introduce 'amicable numbers' with their 'cool' properties.

Even though "Fear No Numbers . . . " is listed on Amazon.com, it's the proverbial tree falling in the rainforest, when no one is within earshot. Does the tree make a noise? I want your listeners to know that there is a fun tool available to them, if their pre-teens (and up, or maybe even they) have issues with, or are fearful of math. Even though it's my business, what would 'warm my heart', would be the readers who'd say that these math systems helped them to become more at ease with math. What would really "make my day", would be if young people were inspired to go further in their exploration of numbers and their fascinating qualities!
