Owned and operated by Michelle Ketterman, nationally recognized as ‘The Inventory Expert,’ The Inventory Experts is Dallas’ premier third-party professional Home and Business Inventory service. Michelle also wrote the Home Inventory Professionals Code of Ethics, Professional Standards, and several industry resources. In 2009, Michelle founded The Inventory Institute, a national initiative that provides credentialing, industry standards, uniform education, and a vehicle for peer review and communication for Home Inventory Professionals. The Institute also educates the public on the need for current inventory and how to find qualified, insured professionals. The Inventory Institute was founded after learning that over 40% of Home Inventory Professionals throughout the country claimed to be licensed when there was no industry license in any state.

I am Christopher Lapham, I was born in Silsbee, Tx and moved to College Station when I was 2 because our house burned down. I grew up in College Station and lived there untill I was 22. At that time I joined the local 54 sheet metal union in Houston and moved here for work.  I graduated from sheet metal school  after winning first place in the regional sheet metal competition. I worked at the shell westhollow research facility almost 5 years and worked my way up from a journeyman to the welding foreman.  During the last year I worked there, I started taking an internet marketing course and started my own business working after hours and on my days off. I have since quit work sheet metal and my focus is now completely on growing my business and spending time with my wife and son, and soon to be daughter.
