CEDAR RAPIDS- Richard Gates, Midwest Administrator of the 912 Patriots for Action, announced his endorsement of Christopher Reed for Congress at a Reed fundraiser on December 5, 2009. Richard is an Army Veteran, a Tea Party Organizer, the Keokuk IA group founder, and co-founder of the 912 Patriots for Action group. Here is Mr. Gates written endorsement: “Today, December 1, 2009, I am very proud to announce our endorsement of Christopher Reed For Congressional Representative For Iowa’s 2nd District. 912 Patriots for Action is a National Conservative social network dedicated to the restoration of our government to its Constitutional roots and values. Many of our members have leadership positions in other like-minded groups. Mr. Reed has demonstrated his patriotism through his life of Family, Service to Country, Service to his Community, and his contributions in private business. Mr. Reed has put forth a campaign platform that assures us his ability and willingness to fight corruption in government by: Upholding states rights, the oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution, protect our 2nd amendment rights, introduce Term limits for Congress, take care of our service men and women, and protect all life. In addition to this, his knowledge of the current issues and how they will affect our daily lives, our standard of living, and the future of our children and grandchildren give him the ability to fight the battles ahead in Washington.
