So far, we have looked at how important it is to take care of yourself, how to schedule your week, how you operate in your business and you've done some homework answering important questions about your business. Today, we talk about standardization in your business. One of the effects of coming from a job into a small business of your own is that you come with a different set of organizational skills than you had on the job. The organization was basically set by your company and you followed along. Now you have to create your own. How do you do that? We'll look at a step-by-step approach which will help you now and in the long run. Operations are my strengths. It behooves me how people neglect their operations. In a small business, it's a very dangerous route to take because it can cost you your business. We begin today to look at how you begin today to standardize your operations and make it easy for you to expand later on.
