Welcome listeners. Today Im talking with seasoned HR Strategist and Consultants Paul Kearns. Paul is founder and Director of UK-based, strategic human resource consultancy PWL (Personnel Works Ltd.), which he established in 1991, and author of several best-selling texts on managing people including the "One Stop Guide to Human Capital Management", "HR Strategy" and “Evaluating the ROI (return on investment) from Learning”. His latest book "The Value Motive" places the need to get the best value out of people firmly at the heart of organisational management and social policy making. He has degrees in economics and economic history and over 30 years experience in the HR field. He has taught his methods in over 20 countries around the world including Australia, China and the Middle East and lectures on MBA and executive programmes. He lives in Bristol, UK with his wife and has 2 grown-up daughters and a son.
