Life, from Bitter to Beautiful and You (Ruth 4)

In the book of Ruth, we meet Naomi, who felt that God had forgotten her. She was a widow, and both of her sons had died before giving her grandchildren. But although it seemed God had dealt harshly with Naomi, He wasn't finished with her yet. Ruth ends up sticking with her to the end, and she marries Boaz. They have a son.  In The Message Bible, it says,

"The neighborhood women started calling him, "Naomi's baby boy!" His actual name was Obed, and he is in the lineage of Jesus.
