Death Passes Over and You (Exodus 12)

If a plague of death were approaching, how desperate would you be to save your family?  The very first Passover was established when all of the firstborn of Egypt were killed, after which Pharoah finally let the Hebrews leave to go into the wilderness to worship God.  The blood of an unblemished lamb on the doorpost of the home was all that would save a family from the Angel of Death.  This is perfect symbolism for accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.  You apply the blood He shed for you to your sins and find forgiveness from God.
