Stanley “Skip” Kelly, 54, is a partner at Washington DC based On The Potomac Productions, a television production company in Washington, DC since 1985 that has produced major documentaries about celebrated persons and events in contemporary African American history. Most recently, Mr. Kelly was co-producer and writer of the new television documentary “Believe: The Barack Obama Story” about the extraordinary life story and historic journey of the 44th President of the United States. He was also involved in producing other nationally acclaimed documentaries including “and “MLK: The Making of a Holiday” and “James Brown: The Man, The Music & The Message.” Mr. Kelly is a graduate of Brown University and has previously worked in politics and media promotions. He has also worked in music industry promotions for legendary artists, including George Clinton and Bootsy Collins.
