Our Guest 'Griot' for this program is Poet and author extraordinaire Dyone Mitchell also known as Dee Poetic Mistress. Dee has been writing poetry for more than 25 years. She is the self-published author of “Love, Pain, Passion and Poetry" and she’s also published with the Library of Congress. Her writing and performance skills captivate audiences as she celebrates her womanhood unashamedly and provides insight into the inner workings of the female mind. As wife and mother of 2 Dyone discusses how to be a successful partner and mother while balancing her budding career as an artist and performer during these turbulent times. Dee Poetic Mistress will appear on 'Third Eye Open' with her husband and discuss what it was like raising their WBA's World Jr. Welterweight champion son Sharmba Mitchell in the Washington Metro area.
