I am a Torontonian born and bred...I guess at some point I got a bit of the travel bug because after I graduated University, I went to Venezuela for a holiday.  While I was there, I met the man who would 3 years later become my husband.
I was lucky enough to be able to be at home while my 3 children when they were small. However, after 8 years of being a full time mom I realized I needed to get back in the world with adults.  I do love my girls; however I was in need of adult conversation.
Becoming a Licensed Mortgage Agent was something that literally dropped into my lap.
...Many people ask how I could go from social work to finance – 2 careers that seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum. The reality is that as a Mortgage Agent, I am able to do exactly what I always dreamt of doing as a social worker. I am able to institute change in people’s lives sometimes in profound ways.
