Emmy Award Winner Katherine Brooks began her career documenting life while living on the streets as a teenager. Her first short film was screened at the prestigious Directors Guild of America where it caught the attention of a network executive who gave Brooks her first break. After a decade of directing shows for NBC, ABC, Bravo and MTV, Katherine returned to her love of cinema, directing the highly acclaimed feature film Loving Annabelle. She followed with the feature film, Waking Madison.

Katherine was one of the youngest members to be inducted into the Directors Guild of America and is the President of the New Orleans based production company, Big Easy Pictures. Katherine is currently in post production on the feature film, Lost in Time. the story of a woman who was traveling in Thailand when the 2004 tsunami hit. The film stars Jill Hennessy (Crossing Jordan) and Kate Gray.
