The Home Atlanta Downpayment Assistance Program

This week we are glad to have The Atlanta Development Authority. Clyde E Anderson CNN Mortgage Correspondent and owner of Paramind Publications, Ms. Tracey Powell Senior Loan Officer as well as Tarnace Watkins Program Manager for the Tax Allocation Districts within the Atlanta Development Authority. Ms. Powell, Mr Watkins and myself will be discussing the DPAP Umbrella which is the central location for all Down payment Assistance Programs offered by the Single Family division of ADA which offers four unique programs , The BAHTF program which an applicant may be eligible up to $50,578, the ODAP Program up to $25,289, the AAHOP program up to $10,000, and the HOAP Vine City/English Avenue program up to $15,000. We will also be discussing the M.A.P (Mortgage Assistance Program) offered by the City of Atlanta that can also offer applicants up to $50,000 towards their mortgage. We will also have TAD (Tax Allocation Districts)expert Mr. Watkins explain to the consumer the opportunities of purchasing in a Tax Allocation district, what great properties are located in the Tax Allocation districts and how to take advantage and how these wonderful programs can layer on top each other and how you may be able to receive up $100,000 in Down payment assistance.
