Our guest this morning is television and radio personality, Mario Martinoli.

Mario is a professional chef with over thirty years of hands-on experience in busy and successful
restaurant kitchens.

He embarked on his culinary career with a modest neighborhood cooking school located in the quaint
Larchmont Village area of Los Angeles. After 5 years of steady growth he relocated and opened the
much more ambitious, “Mario’s Cooking for Friends,” the fondly remembered Beverly Boulevard Italian
restaurant, café, deli and gathering spot in Hollywood.

During this period he was also the official caterer for landmark television shows like Seinfeld, Cheers,
Wings and the Arsenio Hall Show.

In March of 2008 Mario launched “Food & Dining with Mario & Amy” featuring his wife, Amy, as his
opinionated co-host on AM 830 KLAA, the 50,000 watt Home of Angels Baseball.

In 2005, Martinoli debuted the provocative and informative “Mario Martinoli on Food & Dining”
features, heard 3 times each day for two years on KFWB News 980.

Mario’s extensive food knowledge has been shared with his loyal audience of listeners on the AM
airwaves in Southern California for over a decade. Prior to KFWB, Martinoli hosted a long-running,
Saturday food and restaurant show with listener participation on KFI AM-640 and TalkRadio 790 KABC.

Mario has donated his time and skills to various charitable organizations including Share Our Strength
and Careers through Culinary Arts Program

Away from the culinary arts Chef Mario’s passions are his co-host and wife, Amy Strong, and their two
children, Marcello and Isabella.
