Our guest this morning is Diane Latiker. Diane began with prayer as so many great things have begun.

Her idea was simple, if I can get my daughter, Aisha and her friends off the street and doing something productive with their time.

They will be safer and do better.

As Maya Angelu has said, "When you know better you do better."

When Diane's mother suggested that she "Do Something" with the kids, she did whatever she was led to do.

I have a feeling that Diane Latiker will have made a lot of young people's lives better, when it's all said and done.

They will remember how she made them feel ... loved, wanted, like they matter.

And that's what everyone wants to feel. That's what every child wants to feel.

That's what every child deserves to feel in a society that honors it's children and hopes for the future.
