Born and raised between the Fragrant Magnolias and Freshwater Islands of the Majestic low-lands, Hope is a proud native of Columbia, South Carolina who calls Jacksonville, Florida home.

She received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Edward Waters College, and a Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership. Hope’s career in Education spans 15 years of teaching and administrative service in both Duval and Dekalb Counties with capacity in such roles as; General Education in all content areas and Exceptional Student Education Teacher to students with mild, moderate, severe and profound cognitive, behavioral and physical challenges facilitating instruction in the following classroom settings: Autism, Emotionally and Mentally Handicapped, Emotionally Handicapped, Severely Emotionally Disturbed, and Hospital Homebound.

Additionally, she has served as a volunteer Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction in Grades K-8 and Professional Development Facilitator providing in-service training to teachers as a district and school requirement. Ironically, this position would later serve as an underpinning, hallmark and turning point opening many doors of self-transformation as she had previously been injured in a near fatal car crash leaving her with debilitating and work disabling conditions for 5 years, healing from twenty year marriage with five children, and coping with the sudden loss of her mother passing from complications of Stage 4 Cancer.

Connect with her on Face book and Instagram, YouTube as University of Tajdeed, and check out her first two co-authored and self-published books with Shaykh Bilal Rasheed called Seven Flowers (Characteristics of A Blessed Woman According to Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) and Reflections From My Heart: A Small Collection of My Personal Thoughts available on Amazon.
