For all intents and purposes Blacks born in the 1970s were the first real free born black people in this country. After the sacrifices made by our forefathers for equality, justice and a piece of the American dream we were expected to carry the torch for black progressiveness in this country. 44 years later where are we? Have we fulfilled the dreams and hopes of our forefathers? How free are we really? Have we totally lost the point of what the struggle was really about??
