SAM BOROWSKI- Writer, director, producer, filmmaker

In Sam Borowski's words:

I made a short film that qualified for the Oscars a few years back, and my loyalty as a Staten Islander, had me put it in the SINY Film Festival, where we did win awards. I gave them a film last year with Academy Award Winner Ernest Borgnine, Paul Sorvino, Natasha Lyonne, Ahney Her (of GRAN TORINO), Living Legend Mickey Rooney, Academy Award Nominee Sally Kellerman, Zachary Abel (ABC Family's MAKE IT OR BREAK IT) and Rance Howard, Ron Howard's father and a veteran of over 100 films. The movie has gone on to win 16 awards on the festival circuit and we have had sellouts almost everywhere, but not Staten Island. However, being shown in the 1,800 seat St. George Theater, I managed to get close to 1000 people over two showings.

I have worked with Benicio Del Toro, Ernest Borgnine, Peter Bogdanovich, Sally Kellerman, Mickey Rooney, Paul Sorvino, Terrence Mann, Natalie Canerday of Sling Blade, Daniel Roebuck, Natasha Lyonne and actor/director Rob Zombie.
