Tonight we will discuss foods and the politics of foods. Why are organic foods more expensive and out of reach than processed foods. Why is it cheaper to grow, produce, transport and store processed foods than it is for more healthy foods. Why do we grow more corn and sugar than fruit and vegetables? Why are there more incentives given to grow starches / sugars than organic. We are not suggesting that there is a conspiracy however the system appears to be heavily weighted on the side of money making instead of healthy community.
