Join Sam, Rich, and Mike for the 20th episode of a Metsian Podcast at 7:00 pm on September 16th. We'll talk about the Mets late season push, which has been rather nice to watch. However, their ace, Jacob deGrom, remains 8-9, though he possesses the lowest ERA in the major leagues at 1.78. On September 16th, he locked up with Chris Sale in an epic matchup. And to no one's surprise, deGrom walked away with a no decision.

In addition, we'll talk about the resurgence of Michael Conforto. We'll hit on the emergence of of Amed Rosario. We'll ask the questions that need to be asked as we get ready for the off-season. Do the Mets have something great with Syndergaard, Wheeler, deGrom, and Matz? Should one of them be moved to bring back some needed pieces? How about the catching position? Is Kevin Plawecki the answer?

And of course, there was drama this week that we'll discuss. What the heck was Tom (Jackpot) Hallion doing when he stood on the plate after Todd Frazier's walk off? What the heck was Frazier doing when he admitted duping the umpires?

We'll take a look back at baseball in New York in 1920, and wax poetic about the Mets to have worn number 20. There will be some other topics too, making for a full hour of Mets chat. So give us a call or join the fun by listening in!
