The Unknown Show hosted by Bud Smith with special guests WOLFGANG CARSTENS and APRIL MICHELLE BRATTEN.

Wolfgang Carstens will be discussing some new Epic Rites Press projects; some new Poets Underground projects that involve John Yamrus, RD Armstrong, William Taylor Jr. and others; and O, there will much more than mere name dropping, o yes, there will be poetry and bombs and blood squeezed from the alphabet.

April Michelle Bratten was born in Marrero, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota.  April was a finalist for the Best of the Net award in 2009 and was nominated again in 2010.  She was also nominated for the 2010 Pushcart Prize.  Her work has been widely published in both print and online, including the journals Istanbul Literary Review, Santa Fe Literary Review, San Pedro River Review, Southeast Review, Gutter Eloquence, Kill Poet, The Orange Room Review, and Dark Sky Magazine among others. She co-edits and writes book reviews for the online literary journal Up the Staircase Quarterly, which can be found at www.upthestaircase.org

The Unknown Show is an interview series hosted by Bud Smith. The featured guests will range from writers, artists, musicians, ect. with a focus on projects that they are working on or promoting. The goal is to #1, not put you to sleep, and #2 leave you with some personal and often creepy details about a person who used to be unknown to you.
