Chronicles of East Preston Nova Scotia, My First Teaching Assignment

The year 1970 and I am about to step into my first classroom. The community of East preston Nova Scotia at that time was tucked away outside the city limits. The school was 100% Black children from the community.

I have many fond and sad memores of the next 6 years that I would spend teaching those precious children.Laurie goes solo today to share that part of her life as a young women heading into the real world
