Terrorism is a form of deceit:
Terrorism has been around for thousands of years.
Let me lay a foundation of what the Bible says about terrorism (in all it’s forms):
King Solomon has this to say in Proverbs 6 (NASB)
There are six things which the Lord hates,
Yes, seven which are an abomination [i]to Him:
17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
And hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that run rapidly to evil,
19 A false witness who utters lies,
And one who [j]spreads strife among brothers.
The Message Paraphrase:
Here are six things God hates,
and one more that he loathes with a passion:
eyes that are arrogant,
a tongue that lies,
hands that murder the innocent,
a heart that hatches evil plots,
feet that race down a wicked track,
a mouth that lies under oath,
a troublemaker in the family.
Terrorists invent a WHY so big some people follow it blindly without looking at the details!
“Deceit, lies, manipulation and "mind-games" could be viewed as a, watered-down, version of terrorism. Fear is one of the foundations of terrorism and to shake the confidence of those they attack.”
