Based on the theory of Triune brain, research finds that the mammalian brain has a capacity to speak a non-verbal language that transmits and understands “echoes” of emotion in an adaptive function. This adaptive function is called Limbic Resonance: an unspoken harmony of the heart that resonates between two individuals as their eyes meet. Limbic resonance draws us into emotional congruence with those around us and is an integral aspect of physiology that influences our behavior. This aspect of the mammalian brain is thought to be responsible for the phenomenon of love at first sight and is said to influence our choices in friends and mates, continually affecting with whom and how we behave around others according to our emotional intelligence regarding intimacy. Have you ever wondered why you seem to attract the same type of partner over and over? Have you ever wondered why you always seem to lose your pervasive grace around that one relative that calls you klutzy Claire? Machelle Miller is a student and professional of human behavior. Her favorite question is” Why” followed by her second favorite question “What do you think”? Growing up in a tumultuous atmosphere her quest for forgiveness and understanding has led her to study Naturopathic medicine, Religion, and Psychology. Believing the division of science and spirituality is an illusion, she blends scientific findings with spiritual perspectives in an effort to unravel the mysteries of the human experience.
