Nearly three out of four (74%) of Americans personally know someone who is or has been a victim of domestic violence. 30% of Americans say they know a woman who has been physically abused by her husband or boyfriend in the past year. We have to put a stop to the violence. The Gray Matter Show with Apostle Gray has determined to expose different areas of our lives that have become normal occurrence like domestic violence. Here’s a message sent to us by a listener that contacted us this week to share with us what she would love to see us discuss with our audience. I asked her what would you like to address in this show. RH says “After you have the courage to leave....then what? So many of us stay not because we love them, we don't know how to or forget how to survive without them. My ex became the bread winner. We were more than okay with just his income. Then to try to pay the bills and pick up the slack after they are gone, it's hard. It's hard to say to family and friends I need help. They always ask, then why did you leave? Sometimes you have to stay for your good. But then you say, I had to leave to save my life, my children's lives”. Join us the discussion tonight with our special guest Dr. Alice Hodges, Executive Director of Meg’s House.
