Please join host Frankie Picasso for a very special show on Thursday August 27th when my guest is Police Constable Gareth Ward who is campaigning diligently to help his super hero buddy, 5 year old Luke Brewer and family fly to America where Luke will be treated for cancer in October.

Luke was recently diagnosed with Rabdomysocoma, a type of sarcoma that attacks connective tissue and usually hits children 1 to 5 years old.  As treatment is unavailable in the UK, Luke and his family need to come to the USA and the course of therapy will take 7 weeks.

Gareth hopes to raise enough to bring the family for treatment and have a little left over to send Luke to Disneyland as a special treat for the brave little man.

To date, Gareth has been able to raise a little over £1000, but this is still a long way off the target of £2000 he needs.

In addition to the Go Fund ME site:     http://gofundme.com/lukethesuperhero     Gareth is also planning to raise money by participating in a 9bar9x9 running event in Luke’s name. This is an 81km endurance run held in Guildford, Kent, UK, on 10 October and Gareth will be running it in full police gear weighing approximately 42 lbs. In addition to all of this, Gareth also designed some amazing super hero wrist bands that are also a fund raiser and can be purchased on Facebook by going to https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=427589130758195&id=232219716961805

Please join us to help raise money for Luke and CALL US to send your POSITIVE MESSAGES of LOVE to Luke who I know will listen to the show and love to hear your words of encouragement.
