Encouraging and Inspirational Words of Wisdom, Spirit and Life. 1980 ~ 2015 Jeremy Stevens is being remembered as hard working, kind-hearted person. A dedicated fixture at Carver Recreation Center in Johnson City, TN. Jeremy Stevens was also a familiar face around Science Hill High School, where he was the manager for the basketball team under former coach Mike Poe. But because Stevens’ job at Carver Rec was only part-time, he had picked up another position at Daniel Boone High School and he always made time to stop and say hello. “He wouldn’t just throw his hand up and keep walking, he would have conversation with you. He was full of life, and he had a huge heart,” said Good. Athletic Director at Daniel Boone, Danny Good is not the only one who was touched by Stevens kindness. Varsity basketball coach Chris Brown says his positive attitude had a big impact on his players. “He cared for our players he really did he was concerned how they were doing on the court, off the court, sincerely wanted to see them perform well,” said Brown. Even his family knew just how deeply he cared for those at Daniel Boone.
