Entrepreneur/ business owner Lottie Conner has always enjoyed working with her hands. Being a business owner is in her DNA. Her grandfather Wilbern Saulsberry opened up the 1st black owned business in Columbus, Mississippi in 1947 called, "Wilbern's Shoe Shop", where he was a shoe repairman. He successfully retired in 1995. While graduating cosmetology school and earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology Lottie has always had a passion for hosting and cooking for her family and friends. So armed with determination and passion Lottie started her sweet treats business, "Lo Lou's Sweet Sensations" in 2017 after her youngest two graduated high school. The business is still expanding and since then Lottie has added more services and has also obtained her business license. Lottie has a strong desire to open a brick and mortar that will be able to house a few businesses under one roof. Being a devoted mother of 3 adult children it is her passion to leave a strong legacy. Lottie also believes that if you're not doing what you're passionate about, you're only existing and not living.
